Balto is 8 weeks old! He was found by the perfect family, received his name, and got to spend a whole lot of time outside with the family enjoying some beautiful spring days! Life doesn't get much better than that for a pup!
Training is progressing wonderfully, he is super sweet, very eager to please, and loves his toys! We are enjoying our last few days before he heads to his forever family Monday! We can't wait for them to welcome him home!

Mister 3 has had an exciting week! He had a check up with Dr. S and he did outstanding! He didn't even make a fuss. He has a good strong heart, a happy tail, and weighed in at 7.8 ounces!
He is sleeping through the night, starting to whine when he needs to potty (not consistently, but it's a start) and we are starting to see little brown spots show through on his ears! There is absolutely no denying that outside is his happy place! He instantly comes alive when we start heading out the door! It's hard to believe this sweet boy will be ready to leave us in just two short weeks! We started the very basics of house training Thursday and Mister 3 is doing great! He goes potty right away outside and loves all the praise he receives for getting the job done! On Monday, we will start tackling crate training!
Too many fun things are happening to wait a whole week for another update! We had a weigh in, started puppy food, explored the bathtub, and played outside-- all big things for a little pup!
Mister 3 is loving puppy food! He wasted no time digging in the first time we offered it to him, and now gets excited at the sight of his bowl or the ruffle of the bag! He weighed in at 4.6 pounds! Which put him right in the middle of the pack. The heaviest pup was 5 pounds even and the lightest was 3.15. Mister 3 loves to be outside. While he will explore the house, it is definitely not with the same tail wagging enthusiasm the sun and grass bring out in him! He is a big cuddle bug, and will happily relax in someones arms for as long as we're willing to hold him. He also has a real love for toys! In fact, I don't think we have found toy that didn't interest him yet! We just finished off bath time, that he didn't protest a bit, and after some after bath cuddles with the people, he is now snoozing away in a puppy pile! It's hard to believe we have just three short week lefts with this little boy. He loves to play, keeps a close watch on the other pups, and takes every chance he can get to pounce on a litter mate. He is a natural born explorer, full of curiosity, and has plenty of love to go around.
Sunny and 80 Degrees today, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to let the pups explore the outdoors. So, our weekly pictures were done a day early. Mister 3 is a natural explorer! He wasted no time seeing what this new world consisted of. While some puppies were a little timid at first, Mister 3 showed no fear! Such a fun, brave boy.
Look at these pretty baby blues! Mister 3's eyes are open and legs are working and he is all ready to explore. The litter was upgraded from the small whelping box to the large whelping box and they all seem to love the extra space. He has found his voice, and every now and then lets out cute little barks! We are looking forward to ears fully opening this week and playing to really begin!
This little boy is so easy going! He doesn't let me moving him around or trimming his nails disturb him one bit. He is so funny to work with. We noticed his little eyes are starting to open! Next will be his ears and then the real fun will begin! We can't wait!
Mister 3 is weighing in at 2.5 pounds! He has definitely grown since his last picture taken with the Valentine's Day bone!
