We are devastated to share that our sweet Livie Lou passed away this morning. She went in for a routine procedure and unfortunately, didn't make it back home to us. Instead, she was greeted in Heaven. Livie was almost 11 years old and 11 more still wouldn't have been enough. 

Livie has been with our family for most of our monumental milestones. She welcomed home three of our babies, helped raise all five, joined us for as many adventures as possible. She loved her family fiercely and was the definition of loyalty. She loved being the center of attention, cuddling on the couch, and snacking on people food. 

She will be missed more than words could ever express. Our home wont be the same without our sweet, ornery girl. 

Sadie and Knox have spent a lot of time together this summer! We keep hoping all this flirting will spark something... we are all eager for some Toller babies in the house!

Livie has officially decided summer is her least favorite season and has earned herself the nickname "Lazy Livie." She enjoys mornings and evenings outside, but looks at you like your crazy if you try to lead her through the front door during the hot afternoons. Ha! Ha!

When Livie first joined our family, almost 11 years ago... her little girls were just about these ages. Seeing these photos side by side today really reminds me how much life Livie has walked with us. We sure love this sweet, ornery, girl. 

Stella is loving all the summer sunshine and backyard adventures with the kids home from school! She is always right in middle of the action... playing in kiddie pools, muddy puddles, and fetching through sprinklers. She tags along for toad hunts, shares ice cream cones, and fearlessly leads them through the "wilderness" of the neighborhood creek! 

We are all going to be very sad when school starts back up, but Stella might be the saddest of all.

Miss Sadie Jade is living her best summer. Basking in the air conditioned house and taking advantage of every hike, playdate, and walk offered to her. We are still waiting for mother nature to bring Sadie into heat so we can breed her and share an estimated due date. Patience is hard, but we are constantly reminding ourselves to trust God and mother nature! We're certain the timing will be perfect... and hoping for news soon!

Mister Moby is the only pup still with us! He has received his second round of shots, is just over nine pounds, and is doing very well barking or whining when he needs to go outside. We have introduced the leash this week... while he is not too sure about that string around his neck, he is slowly but surely learning to accept it. Ha! Ha! 

Moby goes home next week and we are so excited for him to join his forever family!

Three sweet babies left for the 9 week birthday!

We have slept through the night, in individual crates for the last several days with zero accidents! That is a very exciting milestone. 

We have noticed the puppies starting to whine when they need to go potty, not every time, but they are definitely starting to catch on! Yay!

Moby met his forever family earlier in the week and is excited to join them in a few weeks! Neo will head home next week. Miss Aqua is still waiting for the perfect family to find her.

Eight Weeks today and goodbyes have already begun!

We've had eight weeks of learning, growing, cuddling, cleaning, playing, extra loads of laundry and making precious memories.

It's been a rollercoaster and an honor.

We have loved getting to start this journey with all nine beautiful babies and we are so excited for the next leg of their journey to begin with their forever families. 

I say it all the the time, but we are forever grateful for all the sweet humans who trust us to help them grow their families!

The puppies had their final health clearances and first round of shots yesterday. It went excellent. Just as we expected, all 9 puppies were given a perfect bill of health from Doctor B. They were excited to meet new friends and very forgiving about the pokes the vet gave them.

Miss Stella was excited to see them return.

Seven Weeks!!

It's hard to believe we will begin our goodbyes next week.

We started crate training last night and everyone slept through the night with a buddy! It went pretty well for night one. 

House training has been going well. The stormy weekend slowed us down a bit, but we are back at it and the pups love the praise they get for taking care of business outside!

We go to the vet on Friday for shots and to get final health clearances before they head to their forever homes.
