Eleanor, Rew, and Leo are the last three here.
Everyone is doing well and they have grown SO much this week... even the kids have mentioned how big everyone is getting!
They are all a great mix of super playful AND super lazy.
They play hard and crash hard. Ha! Ha!
We have a weekend full of goodbyes ahead of us.
As always, it's bittersweet.
We'll definitely miss them, but we're equally as excited for their new families to meet them!
.... and then there were 4.
It's been a busy day as we said goodbye to many of our friends!
The pups here are all doing great and haven't seemed to notice the smaller friend pool.
Look at these floppy ears and air bound paws! Ha! Ha!
I love action shots and there are certainly plenty of opportunities for them with these pups.
We have lots to celebrate today!
First off, we introduced the puppies to the crates last week via the buddy system and even with a friend, they were NOT thrilled about this new overnight sleeping arrangement. (Totally normal!) However, last night all eleven pups went into their beds without a fuss, slept until 6:30, and not a single baby had an accident! YAY!
Potty training is also going well! They love all things outdoors. They are pros at rolling in the dirt, sniffing all the things there is to sniff, playing in the leaves and exploring the sandbox.
We went to the vet this afternoon and everyone checked out perfectly! They look and sound great, tested negative for all worms and parasites, and took their shots like champs. Success!
We are so proud of how great they are all doing and can't wait for them to meet their families!
I can't think of a better representation of a seven week old puppy than these pictures... eleven little busy bodies, in motion, looking around, exploring and just happy to be alive! These sweet babies are ADORABLE and FUN, but photographs were not easy today. Ha! Ha! We play hard, nap hard, and love hard around here and we wouldn't have it any other way.
We started crate training a few days ago and we're off to a decent start! We've had some whining and a few accidents, but it gets better every day. We are so proud of how fast they are learning.
House training is going well. We are getting them on a pretty predictable routine and everyone is doing great going outside... we have even noticed a few whining when they need to go! Woooo!!
We are one week away from beginning our goodbyes. The time is flying by and we are so excited for everyone to meet their new babies!
The kids and I are going to take a short trip to see family this week while my husband stays home on puppy duty! He isn't very tech savy, so I thought I would update the blog with a quick pic now and I'll post videos of each pup when we return on Christmas eve!
The puppies are at such a fun age! They are great at games of chase and tug of war, love cuddles on the couch, and they are all BIG fans of puppy food!
Six weeks is a huge week here. We'll start the first steps of house training and crate training this week! The weather is supposed to be beautiful and since my husband will be here all by myself, he'll have plenty of time to focus on taking these cuties in and out... and in and out... and in and out... and in and out some more. Ha! Ha!
Look at these sweet baby faces! They have officially hit the five week mark!
They are devouring their puppy food, playing super well with each other and their mama, and love human attention.
Normally they love going outside, but they weren't too sure about those crazy Oklahoma winds today! They kept looking up at us like "what is going on??" Ha! Ha!
*I'm a little behind on individual blogs today, I will definitely get to them before the night is up. But thought I would make a group update to let you know I didn't forget! :) *
If you have been following the blog for a while, you know I use this cheesy sign with EVERY litter for their four week pictures and they are ALWAYS my favorite pictures we take. I was so sad when my I couldn't find the sign last week! I finally had the time to hunt it down today and couldn't wait until 5 week pictures to put it to use!
I am so in love with all eleven of these little cuties!
Look how much they have grown!
They are all getting so big and learning to love human cuddles and playing with the people in the house.
We are starting to see bits of personality traits emerge, but they are still so young and will continue to evolve with time. I am working on updating their blogs with the little bits of information we have notice so far!
Everyone got their collars today and they instantly look so much older!
Three weeks down, five to go!
Everyone is doing great!
Eyes and ears are wide open and we are starting to see them play and interact with each other in the whelping box.
I was SO impressed with how strong everyone is in this litter.
They are sitting pretty and walking great. I had to double check their age when posting these because they look and behave more like what we expect at four weeks!
