I can't believe this little guy will be heading home in two short weeks! Time is flying by. We started the very basics of house training towards the end of the week and Monday we will begin to tackle crate training! All major signs that our time with him is coming to an end!

A family, a name, a bath, and so much more! It's been a big week for Mister Ollie.
We started puppy food this week and Ollie was by far the most enthusiastic eater out of the bunch. He wasted no time digging in, tail wagging, and then making his rounds in an attempt to help the rest of the pups make happy plates as well! He loves attention and has already learned that if you cry a little, a little girl (or two) will certainly come to the rescue! My daughter, Kambrie, informed me today that he was born to love people and that she NEEDS to cuddle him for his new family! Who could argue with that? So lots of extra after bath cuddles were in order for Ollie today. We did a weigh in earlier in the week and he was a whopping 4.13 pounds! Just a few ounces smaller than the biggest pup in the litter. The first 5 weeks have flown by, it's hard to believe he'll be ready for his forever family in just 3 short weeks! He is an adventurous little guy, with a lot of love to share. He likes to be held, adores toys, and never runs away from a good game of play.
It was a beautiful day to explore! The weather was just about perfect, aside from a little wind, so we took advantage of it and did our weekly photo shoot a day early, outside! This was the litters first time outside. Mister 5 wasn't too sure at first. The wind, the grass, the wind chimes, it was a completely new experience! He took his time, taking it all in, and slowly began to explore. By the time we were ready to come in, his tail was wagging and he was enjoying playing!
Walking, Talking, and seeing, oh my! It was week of milestones here and we are loving all the big changes! Those baby blue eyes and sweet little barks are melting our hearts! We can't wait for ears to open this week and for playing to begin!
It's been a big week! Lots of growing and his eyes are peeking open! He is very mobile for such a young pup! Once his ears open (probably this week), he is going to be ready to explore. These first few weeks are always a little slow, but once the ears open, the real fun begins. We can't wait!
