Bumping 10 years...

It's hard to believe Miss Livie Lou will be 10 years old in just a few months! Our family was reminiscing on her puppyhood this morning, and I thought we'd share the memories that stood out to us the most! 

• Her plane home was super delayed! Our entire family, that consisted of three young kids, waited at the airport for 3 hours anxiously awaiting for her arrival. We took a short trip to IHOP somewhere in that 3 hours. We didn't get home until after midnight.
• When she finally made it home, she was SO excited to be there and out of her crate, that no one slept a wink that night.
• She was so sweet and gentle with all the babies in the family... she knew exactly who she could play rough and wild with, and who to save her quiet gentle moments for. 
• She came home hungry and has never found a food she didn't like! 
• She has never shown any favoritism. She seems to love us all the same!
• She taught herself how to play fetch with herself! We still find this super funny.
• She was a skilled counter surfer.
• She never realized she outgrew our laps and to this day, will try to sit on us. Ha! Ha! 
• The sound of the leash being pulled out of the drawer has always been and probably always will be her favorite sound.

There is nothing easy about owning a puppy, but raising a good dog and having that companionship throughout their entire life... it just doesn't get much better than that!
