Miss Sadie is such a sweet, silly girl. Today she found a “stick” (a small branch) in the yard and proudly carried it all around like it was the greatest treasure she had ever discovered.
She was so excited about that stick that we actually had to move her up high just to get a few pictures of her without it hanging out of her mouth. Ha! It worked so well that we ended up starting there for the next two pups, too!

Miss Sadie is officially 11 weeks old!
Last week she was found by her forever family, received her beautiful name, and discovered her new favorite game… we’re calling it “ball.” We can’t quite call it fetch yet, because that would require her to actually bring the ball back! Sadie is quite certain that if she works hard enough to chase it down, she should be allowed to keep her treasure for her own enjoyment. Miss 1 has such a gentle, loving spirit about her.
She is incredibly affectionate and naturally drawn to people. If you sit down, she will find you. If you speak softly, she will lean in. She doesn’t just enjoy connection — she seeks it out. What makes Miss 1 extra special is her curiosity. She is thoughtful and observant, always watching, always learning. New sounds, new toys, new spaces... she approaches them with interest and steady confidence. She has that beautiful balance of:
She’s the kind of girl who will bond deeply and quietly become your steady little companion. Miss One continues to be such a sweet, happy go lucky girl. She has a fun, joyful energy and plays with her whole heart when the moment calls for it, then settles right in for cuddles when playtime is over.
Our sweetest little sniffer. Miss 1 loves people, is excited by new things, and leads with that cute little nose. She is naturally curious, always hungry, and loves to be loved on.
Her little personality is slowly beginning to emerge, and she is the sweetest little lady. Right now, she is the relaxed, easy-going sister of the group. She tends to move at her own pace and isn’t quite as busy as the others, often choosing cuddles and quiet observation over constant exploring. It will be fun to see how she continues to grow and change over the next few weeks.
Miss one appeared to be excited to get views outside of the whelping box today. She was intrigued by our silly sounds used to get her attention and enjoyed watching the commotion of children behind the camera.
