Lucy continues to be the sweetest, most affectionate girl. She LOVES being part of whatever the humans are doing. Sitting on the couch? She's coming. Walking outside? She's coming. Playing in the yard? Obviously, Lucy also needs outside! Lucy doesn't just want to know what the adventure is, she wants to make sure she's involved in every part of it!

She loves attention and is always happy to be right in the middle of the action.

Lucy continues to be our curious little girl! This week brought a move into the family room, outdoor picnic meals, and a huge assortment of new toys, blankets, mats, and textures to investigate. She has happily taken in her expanding world, although like the rest of the litter, nothing has been quite as exciting as mealtime! Toys are interesting, bones apparently are not, and cuddling up for a good nap still wins over just about everything.

Miss Lucy is our little investigator! She continues to approach new experiences with curiosity and confidence. When we removed the whelping box and introduced the new puppy pen, she wandered around checking everything out. Puppy mush? Better investigate. First trip outside? Time to explore! She seems eager to see what each new experience has to offer and is becoming such a fun little girl to watch.

Miss Lucy was worn out by grooming and pictures today! Everyone was combed through and had their nails trimmed, and apparently that was enough excitement for one day. 😂 She is starting to learn how to play and interact with her littermates, but right now she isn’t quite as active or outgoing as some of the others. Lucy seems perfectly happy with short spurts of activity followed by a cozy nap... and honestly, I can relate!

Miss Purple has had one of the biggest transformations in the litter! She started out as one of the smaller girls, but she has grown beautifully over the last two weeks and is quickly catching up to her siblings. She's proof that a slow start doesn't determine the finish!

She also reminds us so much of our very first Portuguese Water Dog, Miss Livie Lou. That wavy black coat with the white around her face is almost identical! Needless to say, this sweet girl is definitely pulling at our family's heartstrings.

Miss Purple started today's photoshoot determined to find the best seat at the milk bar, but quickly gave in and decided a nap would be just as good. This sweet girl is always sliding her way into the middle of the puppy pile, enjoying the snuggles from everyone.
