Phoebe may officially be turning into our little water dog!
Today, what started as Phoebe simply putting her front paws into the giant water bowl for a drink somehow ended with Phoebe basically SWIMMING in the bowl... and, of course, several littermates deciding to join her party. She is such a sweet, playful girl and absolutely loves her people. If Phoebe suddenly realizes she's gotten a little too far away from us, she quickly prances back over with that notorious PWD smile on her face, ready to check in and get a little love before heading off on her next adventure. ❤️ Miss Silver continues to quietly grow in confidence as her little world gets bigger! This week she moved with her siblings into the family room, where there are plenty of new sights, sounds, and everyday activity to experience. She's also joining the crew for picnic-style meals outside as we start working toward outdoor potty habits. She'll investigate some of the new toys and textures, but like her siblings, she has made it very clear that food and cuddles are considerably more exciting than the giant pile of bones we bought them!
Miss Silver is quickly growing in confidence and curiosity! She may not be the first puppy charging into something new, but she is becoming increasingly eager to investigate. Her first trip outside was a perfect example. She headed out with a wagging tail and her nose to the ground, ready to see what this new place was all about. We love watching her confidence grow each week!
At this stage, the puppies’ eyes have only been open for a few days, and everyone is taking in this brand-new world a little differently! Some opened their eyes and were immediately ready to scoot around and sniff, taste, and tackle all the things. Others are careful explorers, taking their time and making sure things seem safe before jumping into anything unfamiliar. And then we have our observers. They’re perfectly content to sit back, watch the rest of the pack take the risks, and join in when they’re ready. So far, Miss Silver is definitely our sensible little observer! She seems to prefer watching the action before deciding if it’s worth joining.
Miss Silver has the sweetest little expression, but it's her ears that steal the show! They're always sticking straight out like Baby Yoda, and we honestly hope she never grows into them.
She has quietly become one of the biggest girls in the litter! She's been a wonderfully consistent grower from the very beginning and continues to keep pace with many of the boys. Miss Silver is looking like she might be an active girl... She was definitely a busy little lady today during picture time! Even though her eyes are still closed, she was eager to scoot around and see where her adventures might take her.
