7 weeks old, and this happy go lucky baby boy is doing fantastic. He is sleeping through the night in his crate, eating like a champ, and off to a good start with his potty training. We couldn't ask for anything more!
Our Bubba Bear is such a well rounded pup, he can go from gently loving on the baby, to holding his own wth the big dogs, to cuddling a grown up on the couch with ease.
TWO weeks left and this baby boy will be heading home. These first six weeks flew by, so I know the last two will do the same. Bubba loves toys, hates sharing his toys with the litter mates, and has made best friends with the baby. He is such a sweet, handsome boy. Always giving kisses and ready to play.
We took Bubba and a handful of toys outside to play... The toys were cool and all, but LEAVES! That was wear the real fun was at. I'm thinking we may need to swap out squeaky toys for crunchy toys.
It's been a big week for our little Bubba bear! He was found by his forever family, got his first taste of dog food this morning, and ventured outside. His sweet, but serious face fits him so well. He loves being pet and played with, is an eager explorer, and so vocal about his wants and needs. He seems to really like to be in front of the camera... or maybe he just really likes that one on one attention?!
King of the rock! He wasted no time exploring the yard, found himself a rock to stand on and looked so very proud of himself. We definitely let him know how how nice he looked on the rock and you could just see him taking in all the praise.
Weighing in at a whopping 4 pounds and 3 ounces, he is still the biggest pup in the litter. The runner up in weight is 3.12 ounces. He loves to talk and interact with us. Every time we walk up to him, he gives out a little bark to make sure we acknowledge his presence. He loves to play, explore, and always has a wagging tail. He is such a fun little guy. This week we look forward to teeth popping through so we can start puppy food.
Open eyes, open ears, and strong, working legs... his little puppy scoot has evolved into a full on crawl and he is finally able to fully explore his surroundings. He is beginning to play with and gnaw on his litter mates, which is a good sign that teeth will be coming soon and that fun loving puppy in him is sure to emerge with them!
