5 Weeks Old

It's been a busy week for our fantastic five! They graduated from the whelping box to the puppy pen, which gives them more access to people, more space to explore, and best of all a water bowl. Typically we have a few puppies who love the water, a few who are curious about it, and a few who show no interest at all! This litter was truly born for the water! All 5 puppies raced to the bowl and a had a great time splashing, pawing, and tasting this new treat! I wish I would have thought to record their reactions. 

We have noticed everyone is staring to sprout teeth! So play time is starting to get a little noisy as the puppies learn acceptable ways to get mouthy. Personalities are starting to emerge and they are just at a really fun stage of puppy-hood right now. 

We are looking forward to starting food this week and continuing to watch their little personalities unfold!
