5 Weeks Old

The puppies are all doing absolutely fantastic! They started puppy food this week and seem to be growing like weeds ever since. Everyone is currently between 3-4 pounds now, which is pretty average for this age.

We started taking them outside a few times a day to exercise, play, and explore! They all seem to really love that. Some are brave and take right off, others are more cautious and take it all in before joining the others in running and playing! 

By the end of this week, we will begin the earliest steps of potty training. Which is basically us taking them outside when we know they have to go and offering lots of and lots of praise when they take care of business! We will also be picking up crates soon to start crate training!

Hard to believe many will begin making their journeys home in just three short weeks! Time is flying by!
