Oh a difference a week can make! Seeing everyone day to day. I don't notice the changes as much, but comparing our weekly pictures is so eye opening! Those puppy coats are coming in beautifully. Everyone is so soft and fluffy. It's impossible to resist the urge to cuddle them every chance we get.
They are all loving puppy food! We upgraded from "puppy mush" to dry puppy food today and everyone took the change without a problem. They all get so excited when it's time to eat and their little tummies definitely know when it's breakfast time. Like clock work, about 5-10 minutes before we usually feed them, we can hear the barks and whines from the puppy pen! They are not shy about letting us known when it's time to eat! This is a huge week for everyone! Lots of big changes in their little lives, as we will begin crate training and house training! It's slow process over the next few weeks. At this stage, we will crate them with a buddy so they can get used to the crate, but don't have to do it alone right off the bat. For house training, we'll take them out frequently and praise praise praise when they take care of business! It wont be long before they start associating the positive attention with going outside and they will seek out the praise and treats by letting us know when they need to go!
