8 Weeks Old

It was a busy day for the crew. We started with baths and manicures, went to the vet, and they are now enjoying some playtime outside with the human kids.

We were a huge hit at the vet today. All of the staff made sure to swing by our room to check out the puppies. Everyone loved the attention, took their shots like champs, and passed all the health tests with flying colors. They weighed in from 5.1 pounds to 6.8. All of our girls were in the 5's and all of our boys were in the 6's. A good healthy, litter!

No one has pooped in the house in several days and we are down to just a couple every day. (I can admit most of those accidents are my fault, I am greatly out numbered here! Ha! Ha!)

Our first set of puppies begin to make their journeys home this weekend! This is always bitter sweet. It's impossible not to fall in love with them all, but knowing they are all going to such great families definitely helps ease the transition! I can't wait for everyone to meet their new babies!
