Livie Lou got to go to the beauty parlor today! She looks so pretty with her little bows. It always blows my mind how different she looks after a cut. We have a whole new dog!

Acrylic is a manufactured fiber derived from polyacrylonitrile. It is soft, resistant to wrinkles and shrinkage and has a property of drying up quickly. Acrylic paints can be used in high gloss or matte finishes. As with oils, the pigment amount and particle size can alter the paint sheen. In the same way, matting agents can be added to give a dull look.
