Genetic Testing Results

To ensure the future health of our puppies, we had all 5 puppies tested for genetic abnormalities that most commonly effect Portuguese Water Dogs. Our genetic testing results came in today for the litter and everyone passed- just like we knew they would! Their GM-1 test and PRA-PRCD all came back clear. So each puppy will go home with their health certificate! To celebrate, I thought I’d post a short video of the whelping box. They are still figuring out this whole playing thing. I love how Mister 1 and Mister 3 take the time to observe the others before joining in on the puppy pile!
