Your pups are beautiful! Are they all spoken for? Have they been tested for hip dysplasia and congenital retinal disease?
A little about me: I’m an Urgent Care physician, currently not practicing due to illness, but I plan to return part-time this summer. My house is on my family’s farm, so there is plenty of room to play and explore. Additionally the backyard is fenced with a gate.
I have helped train 3 PWDs. Our current Portie is 2, and she is a great example of the breed’s temperament: loyal to her owners, but mischievous and curious. She is very food motivated.
I lost my beautiful boy in late December to End Stage Renal Failure. He contracted leptospirosis at 1 3/4 y but survived, albeit with CKD. With regular vet care, medications, exercise and a verve for life, he passed away at 7 3/4y, which is amazing for a dog with his prognosis.
Noting that nothing will change the bond I had with my boy, I do feel that I have a lot of love to offer another dog. I have applied to the PWDCA to sign up for a rescue, but the waiting list is long and I am lonely at home.
I apologize for the rambling, but please contact me if you have a pup that’s available. Thanks very much, Christina
