You can't rush mother nature, but.... Waiting is hard!

Today my youngest girl (Ren) turns EIGHT! She has been predicting that Sadie will have 8 puppies on her 8th birthday for weeks now... The day isn't over yet, but it's not looking good! 

Nesting has begun, she is slowing down at meals, and is starting to get a little lazier than usual. All signs that labor is getting closer. If I were to guess, I would say puppies will arrive sometime Saturday or Sunday, but as you all have probably figured out by now... Sadie does EVERYTHING in her own time. So, we'll see. 

I know we can't control mother nature, but I sure loved Ren's idea of 8 on her 8th! Ha! Ha!
